New Milestones reached.
This is my 9th blog talking about how I am getting on with my online training. And this week I have made some big strides:
- After a lot of work I have finally managed to publish my first ad. This is now up am running on YouTube.
- I have also published my first video on my new YouTube Channel, Rmaysing Woodwork.
My Ad.
My YouTube Channel.
My YouTube channel is called Rmaysing Woodwork. I have developed a logo and photo to put on the channel and this week I also added an introduction video which tells you about me and what I hope to do on the channel. I have always enjoyed woodwork and been involved in it some way ever since I can remember. I have had a wood turning lathe for about 30 years now. But due to life’s ups and downs I was always able to use it. Its only since I have been married and settled down that I have used it the most. Its not all dead serious, I have just shot some footage of all the other stuff in my shed that takes up loads of room and stops me doing more. Mainly fishing stuff. But I have also got some videos of me making things with my son who has just turned 14. I like getting him involved as I think it gives him confidence that he can do things and teaches him what is possible to do with a bit of imagination and a little help.
I hope the channel will help people to see:
- What they can make with some simple tools.
- The benefits of doing things with your children.
- Some ways of making beautiful objects out of wood.
- I would like to have more time to be able to do more of this.
If you are curious what it looks like or would be interested in the content then here is the link:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfBmbkIMS0wp4Mbq3A_SQJQ
One of the things my training has taught me about this is that you need to be consistent. I need to upload a video at a regular time, on a regular basis. So I am going to try to do this on a Friday evening every other week to start with and that way everyone has the whole weekend to view it when they have most time. That’s the plan. As I get more time then I will try to do it more frequently. But like your favourite TV program, if you get comfortable and turn the TV on and your program is cancelled then it is quite disappointing.
Adding Value and Being Yourself.
These are two of the most important things to remember when doing this kind of thing.
- What value are you adding? What are to giving to your audience that will help, inform or aid them? It can be about any chosen subject, a hobby, like my woodwork channel. Practicle, how to, videos like cooking channels or information.
- Be yourself. Be you, your normal self. People want to see normal people, more than they want to see glossy, polished fake people. I am not saying that everything that is glossy and polished is fake but I think you know what I mean.
In our community there are all kinds of people from lots of counties. They are all different, in every way. They all strive to do those two things. From music to bike riding and dancing they are being themselves and offering value.
What am I going to concentrate on next?
There is no shortage of things to work on next.
Statistics and Data.
When you do an ad there is a lot of data that you can gather regarding it. Things such as:
- How many people were given the chance to see it? Impressions.
- How many clicked on it to watch it? Clicks.
- How many watched the whole thing? Views.
- Who watched it and at what time? Demographics.
- Are they men or women and what country do they live in?
You need to understand this data to know if you are reaching the right people, the people who feel the same as you and want similar things as you. One of the first things I learnt about doing this is you need to know your Avatar, you audience, the people you are trying to help, engage with, target.
There is a saying: If you advertise to everyone, you are advertising to no one.
Mindset.
A large part of the training that we are encouraged to do has to do with Mindset, defined as: the established set of attitudes held by someone. It can also be described as:
- attitude,
- ethos,
- mentality,
- psyche,
- behaviourism,
- mental makeup,
- mental processes,
- way of thinking,
- what makes someone tick,
- where your head is at.
From a very young age we are taught, conditioned to believe, expect, feel that certain things are true, the norm, natural. Some people are made to feel they are unworthy, worthless, not worth it. I remember when I was young being told: "Money doesn’t grow on trees." When you go to school they don’t teach you about money or how to get money to work for you. They just teach you to add up. Most of us are conditioned that we go to school, when we leave we get a job and then we work for the best part of our life until we retire. Then we die and “That’s life!” There are other ways to look at and view life which are very different from the norm and that really work. But the difficult part is squashing what you already believe to be true. This is a subject that I have spoken more about in a different blog, scroll down to the blog from the 26th of November called: Why I needed an open mind.
https://buildingbetterlives.net/2020/11/26/why-i-needed-an-open-mind/
Here is a little gem of info for you. I read an interesting book a little while ago called: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/321982.What_to_Say_When_You_Talk_to_Yourself Part of the book says: Your subconscious mind does not know or care what is true or false. It works to fulfil what you believe, what you tell it. It is like a computer, you program it, it does what the program says, right or wrong, good or bad, true or false. How can you change the program though. By repletion. Repeat, repeat, repeat. The same as you did when you were at school, if your my age, when you did your times tables or you were learning how to form you letters. A weird fact about this is that if you repeat something to yourself enough, even if you personally don’t believe it at the beginning, your subconscious will work for make what you are telling it happen.
These are all some of the things that I have to do more of to be able to keep on building a better life for myself and my family.
What have been my biggest obstacles.
Me.
I am my biggest obstacle. Trying to keep focused, not being distracted down heartened or put off.
Technology
The next obstacle is to do with me but it is Technology. I’m a 56 year old builder. I am not a computer wizz kid. But to do this you have to learn new skills. They can be complicated, and when they go wrong they can really throw a spanner in the works.
Time.
Time, this is always something we are fighting against. We never seem to have enough. If something is worth doing and you want it enough you will make time for it.
Peer pressure.
This is not something that I have had to deal with. My family have been very supportive of it and allowed me to get on with it so long as they still were able to do things with me. So that is about getting a balance.
Life.
Life keeps throwing curve balls at all of us. Things just happen, people get ill or worse. Things break down and mess up the day or week. That may mean you have to stop what you are doing and come back to it later.
Positive things.
Outlook.
It has given me a different outlook on life and taught me how to see things differently. It has given me more confidence and I am certainly happier as a result.
Community.
I know I bang on about this a lot but it is so true. The community is key. You make new friends who want the same and feel the same as you. They are all there to encourage and support you. If you have issues with trying to work something out there is always a group or someone who can help you. Its all free to. It is people adding value by helping others to build a better life.

Your family, training, and chasing cheese.
If you have been following my blogs about my training to build an online business then you will know that I often say your results will depend on you. How much time you can put into it and that will mean making sacrifices. I believe my family are the most valuable thing I have, and I want them to have the best. We all want to do the best for our families. Generally, this will involve some level of sacrifice. Perhaps you must work longer hours to get the money in or work weekends. Maybe you go without more so you can save for what you want or need. Perhaps cutting down on takeaways or not making a fuss over your own birthday to save money. This time of year is always tough for us as a family. First you have Xmas, which is great but expensive, not just because of the presents. When your self-employed you don’t get holiday pay so this year I lost 10 days work over that time. Last week was my wedding anniversary. Yesterday was my son’s 14th birthday and next Sunday is my wife’s birthday. It’s a busy, expensive month! Then as well as all the regular bills I must pay my corporation tax at the end of December and personal tax at the end of January.
Sacrifices.
Parents often sacrifice things for themselves to give the best they can to their children. Often that is a choice you make because you want them to have the best or more than you perhaps had. As they get older what they want is often more expensive too. My son is 14 now and he likes designer cloths and more expensive tech. He also wants to be a pilot when he gets older. So, one of the things we brought him this year is a couple of flying lessons at a nearby airfield. They didn’t come cheap and for him to get his pilots license he will need a lot more of them. I don’t begrudge that, and he certainly is not a greedy or ungrateful child. I like him to know and understand money and what it takes to earn it, but I don’t want him to have to worry about it at this age and wonder how he will do this or that.
Take things like university. The cost of a 3-year course in the UK at university is about £27K just for the course. Then there is the cost of living on top of this, rent, food, travel etc. Many students end up leaving university with an average debt of around 40k but this can easily go up to 60K.
The Rat Race.
Here is a definition of The Rat Race: A rat race is an endless, self-defeating, or pointless pursuit. The phrase equates humans to rats attempting to earn a reward such as cheese, in vain. It may also refer to a competitive struggle to get ahead financially or routinely.
That is what it can often feel like. Like we are just working and not getting very far. We have our little luxuries and holidays, but we are not making progress. We are not saving money for a rainy day or putting money into a nice pension pot so we can retire and live a comfortable life, enjoying our old age. What would happen if you were seriously ill and could not work? I am not trying to be negative; this is normal life for many of us. We get by and try to make the best of it. You bob along happily for a long time then there’s a hiccup and you must dig deep to keep going or overcome whatever has been thrown at you. We choose often not to think about the what ifs because the answers are uncomfortable. Is there a way out of the rat race?
Scrap the Rat Race.
This is one of my goals in doing my training to build an online business. I don’t want to be chasing cheese anymore. My wife and I have been looking for a way out of it for a long time. The problem was finding something we could trust. I have been doing this training for a year now. It has shown me how I can work doing online marketing to earn an income that will get me out of the rat race. I will allow me to spend more time with my family and spend more time doing the things we enjoy, together. Part of that is I want it to help my son to become a pilot. Perhaps being a pilot is unrealistic in this current climate, who knows but it will not hurt him to give it a go. I hope what I am learning will transfer to him, and he will take it up to, and so be able to evade the rat race in the first place. Its all about wanting the best for yourself and your family. Isn’t that what we all want?
My first Advert.
Because I believe in this training and have experienced real benefits in my life, work, and mentality I want to share this with others. Others who have, just like me, wanted to stop chasing cheese and build a better life for themselves and their families. I have found a way of doing it that I trust and believe in and will give me results. It has taken me a while to do, yes. I have had to alter bits of it as well. I had a few technical issues in December which were hard for me to resolve but because there is an enormous community of people willing to help you I have been able to overcome these issues. But part of my advert had a Xmas tree in the shot at the end of it but because it took me a while to resolve the issues I had to reshoot it, so it was appropriate for the time of year. I have also had lots of help from a very successful member of the community who has given me advice and help to give me the best chance possible. So here is my final add. It will go live this weekend and who knows you my even see it on YouTube yourself when you’re watching something. That is how I first became aware of the training.
The title of my ad is: Learn New Skills and Change your Life.
What’s next in the training?
Just posting the ad is not the end of the matter. You must learn how to “track” your ad. To see if anyone is looking at it. If they are looking at it, are they watching the whole thing or skipping it to look at something they think is more interesting. When are most people watching it and in what areas of the country? You can also target what kind of people are watching it, how old they are, men or women, families, etc. etc. All of this will help you to understand if you are reaching your intended audience.
- My aim is to try to help people who are in a similar situation to me.
- They will be about my age, between 40 and 60 with a family and self-employed.
- Many of them will face the same challenges in life as me.
- If this training can help me to change my life and stop chasing cheese, then it can help them too.
I have learnt that this is my Avatar, my target audience, the people I am trying to reach. I understand their issues because I have experienced them and know how it feels to be in the same situation as them. I am in a good position to know how to help them, how to reach out to them. It’s a bit like looking in the mirror. The person looking back at you is like you, has similar issues. You become an expert at understanding what those kinds of people need or want. When you do the training about Avatars they go into in real detail. But by starting out with your own story you have a great advantage, real life, your life. If anything, I have said in this blog has touched are chord with you and you would like to find out more then click the link here and I will send you a free video series that will tell you more about it.
Click here to learn new skills and change your life. If I can do it, so can you!

Happy anniversary.
Today is my wedding anniversary. But it is also the first anniversary of when I started to learn how to build an online business. When I started I was at a real low point having been made redundant just before Xmas 2019 and not for the first time. Now, I have been learning about online marketing and trying to implement what I have been learning for more a year now. So, I thought it may be interesting to look back and see what led me to choose to learn something so completely different from what I am used to:
Search for The Alternative. I had always wanted to do something that would allow me to spend more time with my wife and family. So, we could all spend more time together. But I have worked in construction for over 30 years, it is all I have ever known. I had looked at doing other things, but I was either not qualified or did not have the time or money to plough into it to try to make it work. I had previously always tried to steer away from “change”. Change was something that I found uncomfortable, even threatening. Nor am I a risk taker so for me to invest time or money into something, then it had to be well worth it and I had to have confidence in it. I did not want to throw the hard-earned money I had down the drain. But in one way or another change was coming, I was getting older and would not be able to keep going forever.
The Sinking Feeling. Perhaps like me also, have you ever been away on holiday or for the weekend and when the end of your holiday starts to draw near you get that sinking feeling. You must go back to the grind; tomorrow is Monday, and you will be back at work. Back in your “normal” routine. We have a caravan and like to go away in it as often as we can. Sometimes we would only travel an hour or so away. That way it was not far to drive home, and we could leave later Sunday afternoon without getting home too late, especially when the weather is nice. But you still had that “sinking feeling”. The weekend, the holiday, or the time off was drawing to a close, it was back to normal. There seemed to be no escape.
A Vulnerable Living. Most of my working life I have been self-employed. Nearly all of that has been in some form of construction. So, whether you found your own work or other larger companies gave you work, there was always a risk that:
- There may be a recession or there would not be enough work to keep you going full time.
- The company you are working for may go bust and suddenly you find you have no work and maybe no car either.
- Perhaps the people you are working for have found a way of saving money which means you no longer have a job with them.
- Maybe they have other work that has finished, and they replace you with one of their own salaried men.
All these things have happened to me. I have been in work one day and have no work the next. It’s a horrible feeling, especially when you are the only one in the family working and you have children to look after who are looking forward to Santa bringing them presents and have a list of things they would like for their birthday.
Right time right place. Every now and then things happen in life at just the right time and place. So, when I saw an advert offering me the chance to learn how earn an income from the internet that I could do where-ever I was and have more time to spend with my family, then I was hooked. I wanted to know more, how was it possible? could it be something I could do? If I wanted to know more, is all I had to do was leave my name and email address and the person would send me a free series of videos about the training and how it works. This was what I needed to give me confidence in the process and because it was free there was no risk attached. The rest, as they say, is history. If you want to know more, you can do the same as me. Click here, leave me your contact details and I will send you a free video series that will tell you more.
Managed Expectations. There were two main things that were made clear to me right from the start.
- This is not a get rich quick scheme, so I am still waiting to earn a living from this, but I am well on the way. They did not try to lure me in with promises of thousands or millions. How much I earnt depended on:
- Me. I would be able to work at my own pace. So, I didn’t have to give up my current job, which I could not afford to do. But what it did mean was the longer I took the longer it would be for me to see financial results. If I regularly put time aside to learn and implement what was being taught then I would be able to progress faster. I know of other people who have totally changed their lives in the time it has taken me to do this. Their circumstances allowed them to do it though, so you can’t compare me or you to others.
New Skills.
Different outlook. I have had other results though. I have learnt to see things in a different way, a new light if you like. As we grow up we are all affected by our past. This is normal but it is not always healthy. If yours makes you less confident then often your adult life will have many uncertainties. Detaching ourselves from those events, emotions, beliefs, or feelings can be hard. But there are ways you can learn to do it.
The Internet. I am not a salesman. In fact, I am rubbish at selling things. A sales job would be the worst kind of thing I could do, ever! I have not suddenly learnt how to become a wizard salesman. Over recent years most of the world has started to buy things over the internet. As time has gone on this has grown into a mammoth industry. It shows no sign of slowing down either. But the internet allows you to research what you are buying and who you are buying from. For example, I buy from Amazon because they have lots of products that people sell and if there is a problem Amazon will help me sort it out. If I buy from another company there are websites like Trust Pilot in the UK where I can go and check out if I like the reviews they get. All of this gives us confidence in the people we are buying from.
Being You. But what about if you want to offer a service or recommend a product or service to other people that you have perhaps benefited from and think is worth them knowing about. How would you be able to get that message across. The best way is by being You. Letting people see who you are, a normal person, who lives in a normal place and does normal things. We get turned off by seeing slick, fake presentations from people who we can’t connect with or who just seem too good to be true and a little cheesey. Being yourself, for many people is harder than you would imagine. Do you like having your photo taken, or like being on video for example. I didn’t, I did not like it at all. I would do my best not to be in shots. As for the sound of my own voice, same thing. So if you are going to recommend or sell something on the internet, this is something you will need to overcome. I have had to. But as I have said repeatedly on my blogs, I have not done it alone.
Community. There has been a whole community of other people who have been there to support, encourage and spur me on. They do courses on how to do it and how to edit the videos that you make. Infact, they do so many courses but all of them are designed to teach you how to do things. These are some of the ones that I have used and benefitted from:
- How to set up your own online business.
- How to build your own web site.
- How to make and edit videos.
- How to set up your own Youtube channel
- How to create an advert.
There are lots of new things I have done but I could not of done hardly any of it without these courses and the community behind me.
Now I am also starting to post things on Instagram also. This to is a new skill for a 56 year old builder.
Has it been worth it?
Yes, definitely. We are living in tough times. But I still look forward to the future with more confidence than ever before. I have been given the chance to do something that I have always wanted to do but did not know how to. I am learning how to and every week I am making progress towards my goal. It may take me a little more time but I will get there. We even talk now about things we are going to do and where we are going to live. Things which I would not thought much about before because I did not believe they were within my reach. That has changed. My life is changing and will get better. If you would like to change your life and learn how you can do this then click here and send me your contact details and I will send you a free video series which will tell you more about it. Then like me you can make your own mind up.

Frustration and Perseverance.
This is my 5th week where I am sharing how I am getting on with my training. But briefly, for those of you who don’t know me, I am nearly 57 and have been working in construction for most of my working life. It is all I know. But I want to change and have more financial security and free time moving on. I don’t want to be always living on the edge, just getting by anymore. So, I have enrolled on a training program that is helping me to do just that. In my blogs recently I am sharing with you how it’s going, ups and downs, good and bad.
Lots of help at hand.
As you may have worked out from the title this week has not been plain sailing. I was having some issues setting things up, but another trainee told me about a group who specialised in assisting with tech issues such as mine. So, on Sunday I had a Zoom call with some members of our community, and they helped me to overcome some of the issues I had last week. I am intending to advertise on YouTube with my digital marketing business. To do this successfully and have the greatest chance of getting results or working out how to get better results there is a lot of “other stuff” that needs to be set up. This all then must be inter linked to the correct bits, so it all works properly. This is easy to say and harder to do, especially for me. Most of what I have had to do is alien to me, way too technical and confusing.
One step at a time.
This means the step-by-step training we get is invaluable. Without it, I could not ever conceive how I would be able to get through all the steps you need to do to complete the set up. One thing that has made it harder at this time is the Google have changed some of the processes of how these things are done. This has meant that I fallen between two stools. The training is in the process of being updated but Google have already moved on.
As I said last week you are never alone in this community and because there are lots of people who are more tech savvy than me and very familiar with the processes involved it is easy to reach out and ask for help. The help can be a message with instructions or a Zoom call or something similar. It is sometimes instant but generally it takes a few hours or possibly a couple of days. The answers are always there, you just need to find the right people to ask. With this community finding help is not hard, you just need to ask.
Frustrations.
That having been said for me it has been frustrating. There have been times when I would like to of launched my laptop on one of Elon Musks new rockets and watched it disappear into the blue. I am not always the most patient of people, which does not help me. I have put quite a bit of work into this already and spent a good amount of time doing it. I am getting close to going online and being productive. So being so close but not being able to finish is irritating for me.
This is not the only issue I have to deal with. Don’t forget I am doing this training along side my normal job. I am a site manager on a construction site and recently I have been very busy at work and because my wife works longer hours than I do I also have times when I am busy at home, helping out, cooking tea, or cleaning up. This is life as we know it and it means I can’t always just do what I want.
Perseverance.
This is where perseverance comes in. I know I will get there; it is just going to take a little more time than I wanted. Plus, there are other things that I am trying to do along side this. You may remember in some of my other blogs, if you have read them, that we talked about going into this training with an open mind, trying out new ideas and new ways of thinking. This is because many very wealthy and successful people think in specific ways and have specific attitudes towards things. Much of this “mindset work” is not our normal way of thinking and it often goes against the grain of how we normally think. As a brief example, take money. I grew up hearing: Money doesn’t grow on trees and What, do you think I’m made of money! This and other things condition us to think of money in certain ways which can then limit our beliefs and make us feel money is scarce, always needs to be strived for and is elusive. If we change how we think, this can change our beliefs, feelings and ultimately our reality. But because this is our normal thought pattern, it takes practice, repetition, perseverance to change it.
So, I always have plenty to do and get on with. If I can’t do one thing then I can work on something else. A friend of mine said yesterday, “If you want to change your life, start by changing one thing you do each day.” I liked that, I thought it summed things up nicely.
My Aim.
What is my aim then what am I trying to do? There are four things I am trying to do ultimately.
- My final goal of all of this is to have financial security and more time to spend with my wife and family doing more of the things we love.
- To do this I need to learn new skills. Not just technical skills about how to work online but also new mental skills, methods of thinking.
- I value the training I have been given and it has benefitted me immensely. I want to share this with others who perhaps like me have been struggling and wanted to do something else but didn’t know what to do but nor did they know how to do it. I am building an online business to show people what this training is and how it can benefit them.
- I am also doing other things that I am interested in and trying to showcase them through things such as YouTube. I have been involved with carpentry for over 30 years and it has always amazed me how beautiful wood can be. Hand made things are amazing, but I always had the mindset that I could never earn any money-making things because people were not prepared to pay for them. The digital world has changed that in part. Because now people can see how things are made and who makes them. So, they buy from a real visible person and not from a mass-producing global corporation.
All of this is helping me to Build a Better Life not just for me but for my family also. If you would like to find out more about this training and how it could benefit you and your family then click here and I will send you a free video series which will tell you more about it all, then you can make your own mind up.
Other progress.
I mentioned above in section 4 that I am trying to showcase some of the things I am interested in on YouTube. Woodwork being one of them. So, I have created a YouTube Channel called Rmaysing Woodwork. On it I will try to show people how they can make things simply with some basic tools. So, to do this I had to create a logo and some channel art for it. This is all done now and maybe over the weekend or next week I will add some videos to it and start trying to get subscribers. Once I have 100 subscribers, so my expert YouTube son tells me, my channel will be searchable. So, look out for me.
This is one of the other projects I have been progressing on. Hopefully, the main issues I have been facing this week will get sorted out and next week I will be able to tell you how it has moved along.

Never Alone.
This is my 4th blog specifically about my training. A big part of that training is the community that has built up and is actively encouraged around it. But briefly, for those of you who don’t know me, I am nearly 57 and have been working in construction for most of my working life. It is all I know. But I want to change and have more financial security and free time moving on. I don’t want to be always living on the edge, getting by anymore. So, I have enrolled on a training program that is helping me to do just that. It is helping me in two ways:
- First, it is teaching me how to do digital marketing. This way I can have my own online business.
- Second, it is helping me to think differently and see things in a new way.
My Limited Skills.
I know my way around a computer, and I can do most things on it that I need to do for work etc. I can use CAD and most of the normal things like Word and Excel. But my skills technically ended there. I watched YouTube but that was the only form of social media that I ever used. I had no Facebook account or anything such as that. The other things such as Instagram and Twitter were completely alien to me. Perhaps it’s just an age thing, I don’t know.
The real me.
Once I started my training I was encouraged to look at these platforms in a new light. This is because if I were going to do digital marketing in any form then I would need to understand them and use them to market whatever I was doing. I’m not a poser, someone who loves being in front of a camera, I used to dislike having my photo taken and even the sound of my own voice used to make me cringe. For social media and for digital marketing, you need to have an online presence. For people to trust you, they need to know who you are. See what you look like. Get eye contact. They want to know you are a real person, someone they can trust. You must have that whatever you are trying to market. We are constantly bombarded with adverts and people telling us what we should be doing. A lot of it is fake or hyped up, we all get sick of that. So, for people to trust me I must be sincere, genuine, authentic. Not flashy, gushing and OTT. You can only learn how to do that so much; the rest has got to be done for real looking at a camera. But how do you know if it is any good.
Community.
A very big part of the training you are given is community. Being involved and part of a community of like-minded people is extremely important. A community spirit is defined as: Willingness and desire to participate in activities that promote community. They can offer you so much:
- Encouragement not just to carry on but to get started sometimes.
- Support, if you’re feeling a bit low or don’t know if you are doing something right, they are there to give you support and buoy you up.
- Advice, there are lots and lots of people in our community. Some are new, some are like me been doing it a year and others are old hands. So, between us we’ve been there, done it, read the book and got the T shirt.
- Congratulate you when you do things, and they pay off. They will praise you and encourage you to keep it up and do more.
So, a great example of this is what is called a 90-day challenge. Here is how it works. You join a private member’s only Facebook group, and you film yourself and talk to the camera every day for 90 days. Each day you post the video onto the Facebook page with a short, written introduction and then the other members watch it and comment. The first one is always the hardest, I felt so, so uncomfortable. But I have never been made to feel a fool or silly or embarrassed. Once you get into it, you start to enjoy it. Then you start to notice that everyone has their own style, but you can also pick up tips and tricks from them to. The community will offer suggestions if you ask for them to. I have finished my 90 challenge now. It took me longer that 90 days though, probably nearly double that time. But you are never made to feel bad or awkward about it, there is no pressure. You learn at your own pace.
Communities such as this are a great asset to learning because they offer camaraderie, the feeling that you are not alone.
Friends in common.
From this I have been able to build up some amazing friendships with lots of different people who I would never have met otherwise. But one of the greatest things about it, is we are all striving for the same thing, financial security more time and freedom. Because we are all individual and have different interests, most of us are doing it in our own unique, individual, authentic style. Many of us are marketing something we are already passionate about. For me it is woodwork, especially wood turning. For others it may be health or how to overcome a certain illness. But whatever the subject they are talking about it from their own personal perspective. They are offering genuine value by helping others who are like minded to learn new things. With Covid this year it’s been a bit odd, so I have never met any of these friends in the flesh so far. I have only ever seen and spoken to them on Zoom or What’s app. When we can finally meet up safely it will be a very special time.
What’s next for me.
There are two things I am trying to do now. One is I have made a short film where I am offering people like me and in similar circumstances to me the chance to benefit from the same training so they can have the same benefits. I have been looking for a way to have financial security and more time and freedom for years. Now I have found it, I want to share it.
The second thing, I am setting up a YouTube channel where I will share some of my woodwork experience with anyone who is interested. I have started work on it by making my own logo and some channel art for it. A year ago, I had no idea how to do this. Don’t get me wrong, it has had its challenges, but with the help of the training and the people in our community I have so far been able to overcome any and all of these issues and keep building a better life for me and my family.
What about you?
So, what about you, you are here reading this, and you have nearly got to the end of this blog. What drew you here? Was it the same things I was looking for? Financial security, more time and freedom? To find out more about how you could benefit from this training and be a part of this growing community of like-minded people click here and I will send you a free video series which will tell you more about it. Remember, there’s no pressure, ever. It’s up to you to decide what you want to do. Perhaps I will see you do your first video.
